Born on March 11th, 2003 from a middle-class family, Chu Joowon is raised on a not-so-religious-family. Raised on a suburban area and works on market (especially fish market) around Goyang, he's known as a very clever son from Chu Jungwon and No Hyeesoo that loves literature and music. Sadly, he's a victim of bullies on his school because he is 'fishy'; before go to school, he helps his mother on delivering a load of pickup truck from fishing port to the market. His mother is a hard-worker that always trying to provide anything that her family needed, even when Joowon's sister, Chu Seungmin decided to moved to Busan for study, Hyeesoo saves some money as a 'gift' for Seungmin.

 

2021, it's the time for Joowon to celebrate his graduation from the high school. He's going to a celebration party on a restaurant near the market. But, unfortunately, God don't think it's a good day for Joowon. About two or three guys (the same bullies from his school) get drunk and involved in a riot around the Goyang's market. The riot spread all the way to the fish market where Joowon's parents worked. Two of the fifty-seven victims is Joowon's parents; both of them were robbed, and their things was ransacked. The clock is still ticking, but there is no time for the breath. When arrived on the hospital, Jungwon and Hyeesoo are confirmed death because of the riot on the fishmarket. After stroling around for two years, he decided to move on. Before 'export' everything that he was planned for two years, Joowon decided to tell his sister that he's going to move with his uncle (Chu Jeongnam). Seungmin feels bad for abandoned his little brother and said she'll moved with Joowon someday. On the other hand, Joowon feels guilty because their parents are dead; what if Joowon didn't go to the celebration party and back early to the fishmarket? Who knows.

 

2024, Joowon had a position as an administrator on Jeongnam's office. Joowon already reached his American Dream, but he didn't hear anything from Seungmin since two months ago. Seungmin told Joowon that she would coming to San Andreas, but Joowon can't even see her hair or smells her scent. So, Joowon decided to go to Los Santos from his uncle's office on San Fierro. Looking for 'Hanin Jeongchak Jiwon Senteo' or 'Korean Settlement Support Center', a place that he's encountered when arrived on San Andreas back then. But, that support center already changed to a place called Little Seoul. His eyes focus on Lobster Head Co.; a conversation with Hae Jaesang brings Joowon to that place and he's applied as a butcher on the store. With all of 'half-boiled' information, Joowon ready to step on a new line while looking for her sister on San Andreas.
