Roger's mother was from Los Angeles, America, while Roger's father was from Tijuana, Mexico. Roger's mother was a doctor, while Roger's father was a drug lord. Roger's father and mother met at a hospital in Mexico. At that time, Roger's father was overseeing the hospital he owned, and he met Roger's mother, who was a new doctor there. They fell in love and got married in Mexico. The love story of Roger's father and mother was full of pressure. Roger's father, who was a fairly well-known drug lord at the time, was being hunted by American federal agents, so he was constantly moving from place to place to avoid being captured by American federal agents. Roger's mother was deeply stressed by the life led by Roger's father, until one day she wanted to divorce him because she was pregnant with Roger. Roger's father refused to divorce her, because he wanted to protect her anywhere and at any time. Then, one day, Roger's mother felt that it was almost time to give birth to Roger, so Roger's father decided to send her back to her hometown of Los Angeles, America, to give birth there so it would be safe. Roger was successfully born in Los Angeles, America; however, at the time his mother had just given birth to him, his father was not there his father had died on the very day Roger was born. A few weeks before Roger was born, his father was being hunted down, dead or alive, by federal agents, because one of the federal agents had been killed by his father's cartel. The killing of the federal agent enraged the American government, which wanted to eliminate the Mexican drug lord, dead or alive. One day, while the Tijuana cartel's top leaders, including Roger's father, were discussing the organization's developments at a certain location, information about that location leaked to the federal agents. Not long after, the federal agents, assisted by the Mexican military, raided the location where the Tijuana cartel leaders were gathered. A gunfight was unavoidable at that time. The shootout between the Tijuana cartel and the federal agents, assisted by the Mexican military, resulted in many casualties on the cartel's side, including Roger's father, who fell in that battle. Roger's mother became deeply depressed after hearing of his father's death, which led to her passing away while giving birth to Roger. Roger was raised by his grandmother in Los Angeles. Roger was a smart child; he often won olympiads while he was still in school. Not only academically gifted, Roger was also skilled at earning money since childhood, he had always helped his grandmother sell goods at her bakery. Roger continued his education in college while also helping to develop his grandmother's bakery business. Then, one day, his grandmother passed away, and Roger decided to close her bakery. After graduating from college, Roger decided to move away to another place and start an independent life. With no one left for him in Los Angeles, Roger decided to move to Los Santos and begin a new chapter of his life there.
