Born in 2002, he was orphaned at the age of four by his father, Luke Edwards, a member of a well-known motorcycle club in the area. From a young age, his mother tried to protect and comfort Lowell, preventing him from a life of crime like his father had. Lowell had an uncle, Jack Buckhead, who was Luke's comrade-in-arms. Luke, Lowell's father, had long instructed Jack to look after Lowell wherever and whenever he was. Jack loved Lowell deeply, even considering him his own son. He also admired Lowell's humble personality, yet always committed to anything he deemed important, even if it involved a little pressure and violence. Growing up, Lowell Edwards was constantly haunted by his mother's aging and ailing health. This forced him to care for his mother until the unexpected day when Lowell's mother, Marlyne Rosemarie, died at the age of 54 due to an illness she had been experiencing for several years. His mother's passing prompted his uncle, Jack, to begin telling Lowell about himself and his father. Lowell, already aware of this, felt he should continue his father's journey on the road, seeking as many connections as possible to understand the hardships of life in the United Kingdom. Now 24 years old, Lowell decided to migrate to the city of Los Santos in the state of San Andreas, armed with the knowledge and skills his uncle had given him, before his uncle died a few months before arriving. Life in Los Santos was not easy, as it was described as harsh and rife with crime. Young Lowell continued to search for his identity and had a strong desire to continue his father's journey, which he believes has been a significant influence on his life since he learned about his father's role in a popular club from the 1980s to the late 1990s.
