One day, Malvin was visited by his confidant, Bobby Tanner, at a motel in Jefferson. Bobby told Malvin that his boss had offered him an illegal job delivering some of his belongings to a buyer. Malvin accepted the offer, and they immediately went to a house in Idlewood. There, Malvin was given a bag containing pre-packed items, and they set off together to deliver the items to a village. Along the way, they took a break. There, Malvin, with malicious intent toward Bobby, ordered people to stop him along the way. Malvin sent a message to one of his close friends. Bobby was busy with his phone, and Malvin's behavior became suspicious. Bobby then asked Malvin why he seemed restless and busy playing with his phone. Fortunately, Bobby didn't see the message. Afterward, Malvin tried to calm Bobby down and reassure him that nothing bad would happen. After the situation calmed down, Malvin advised Bobby to continue their journey, as they were still quite far from their destination.

Bobby didn't immediately act. He chose to monitor Malvin secretly, searching for evidence without alerting anyone. Several times, he saw Malvin receive mysterious calls, always with seemingly fabricated excuses. Then they continued their journey back to their destination, where they rested again at a rest stop, exhausted from the journey. When Malvin got out of the car, he discovered he had left his phone inside, and Bobby accidentally saw it, which aroused Bobby's suspicions. Bobby opened the messages on Malvin's phone and found evidence that Malvin intended to kill him on the way.

Seeing the messages, Bobby immediately took Malvin to a quiet place and intended to end Malvin's life right then and there. Upon arriving at the execution site, Bobby ordered Malvin to get out of the car. The situation there was already very tense, and Bobby gave Malvin the opportunity to say his last words. Without wasting time, Bobby immediately drew his gun and shot Malvin in the head, killing him on the spot.
