      One night in Detroit, United States, a baby boy named Lamelo Kidd was born into an African American family. He was the son of Hakeem Kidd and Kahleah Weebs. Lamelo's father owned a bar near their home in Detroit, while his mother served in the Air Force. From birth, Lamelo lived a comfortable life, and his education was well provided for. From an early age, he often helped his father serve customers at the family bar, which allowed him to gain valuable experience in bartending. Through the bar, Lamelo also met many older people and made numerous friends. Among them were Tyrone Redfellow and Bubba Olajuwon, who were his neighbors. The three became close friends and spent much of their childhood playing together. As they entered high school, Tyrone, Bubba, and Lamelo discovered that they attended the same school.

 

      Their friendship grew even stronger, and they always looked out for one another. One day in the school cafeteria, the three friends discussed possible business opportunities they could pursue. Lamelo suggested starting a sandwich business at school. They carefully planned the idea at Tyrone's house after classes. Over time, they saved money from their allowances to build enough capital. Once they had collected enough funds, they purchased ingredients to make dozens of sandwiches. They asked their parents for advice on how to make delicious sandwiches and also watched tutorials on social media. Every morning, Lamelo, Tyrone, and Bubba gathered at Tyrone's house to prepare sandwiches for students to buy as breakfast. When they arrived at school, they sold each sandwich for three dollars. Within thirty minutes, all of their sandwiches had been sold. They were thrilled with their success and decided to continue the business the following day.

 

      Day after day, they kept selling sandwiches until graduation approached. Eventually, Tyrone, Bubba, and Lamelo calculated the profits they had earned throughout their business venture and realized they had accumulated a considerable amount of money. However, a disagreement arose when it was time to divide the profits. Tyrone demanded a larger share because his house had always been used as the production site for the sandwiches. Lamelo and Bubba disagreed, arguing that all three of them had contributed equally through their hard work. To avoid further conflict, Lamelo suggested postponing the discussion so everyone could think more carefully about a fair distribution. They agreed to let Tyrone keep the money for the time being. The following day, Lamelo and Bubba visited Tyrone at his house, and the three went for a walk to discuss the matter. While sitting by the roadside, Tyrone apologized and confessed that he had already spent all of their earnings on cocaine. Lamelo and Bubba were furious. In a moment of anger, Lamelo punched Tyrone, knocking him unconscious. From that day forward, their friendship was shattered. At the age of eighteen, Lamelo decided to leave Detroit and move to Los Santos in search of work and new business opportunities.
