          The city of Villavicencio is a gateway city that connects the lowland region with the capital city of Bogotá. Villavicencio is the capital of the department of Meta. Maria Fraga is a mother who gave birth to a healthy son named Octavio Jose Pastrana. The name was given by a hardworking father who loved his family very much, named Luiz Pastrana. The birth of this son was a happy moment that was eagerly awaited by him. Octavio Jose Pastrana was born on July 12, 1992. He was a cheerful child and easily got along with new people. Octavio's family was poor, his father worked as a construction worker and his mother was a homemaker. With that condition, Octavio was not ashamed of working to help his family's economy. Although he was forbidden by his father to work because he was still a kid, he ignored the prohibition.

          During elementary school, Octavio was one of the high-achieving children, never causing any trouble. After school, he usually went straight to his routine: work. He worked as a shoe cleaner in the city center. When he entered junior high school, his father, a construction worker, received a job offer in the city of Medellín. His father accepted the offer and had to leave his small family. Octavio was sad because his father was leaving. Before his father left, he promised Octavio that he would buy him new soccer shoes when he returned from his trip.

        Several months later, Octavio awaited his father's return. He had been waiting for his father to buy him soccer shoes. But unfortunately, his father's return was accompanied by emotion, because on his way home, his father became one of the civilian victims killed in a Colombian military operation in the city of Medellín. The ceasefire was between military forces and the FARC. The FARC is the largest rebel group in Colombia. Octavio and his mother heard the news, crying with emotion. She could not hold back her tears. Octavio, who was still young, had to let his father go. After Octavio grew up, he finished high school. He intended to go to one of the cities in the United States. He chose the city of Los Santos to pursue the American dream.
