One night, a child named Ricci Bartlett was born. He was born on March 31, 2008, in the United States—specifically in the city of Los Santos, known for its tough lifestyle. From a young age, Ricci was accustomed to seeing conflict and hardship, which made him lose his sense of security. Ricci had two parents; his mother had passed away 10 years earlier, while his father worked as a mechanic. Ricci was very disappointed in his father because he wasn’t enrolled in elementary school like his friends—his father couldn’t afford the tuition—so he simply studied at home with his father’s help.

 

As time went on, Ricci became known as a truck driver delivering goods. He kept working until he lost sight of himself and his father. Ricci’s father passed away while he was delivering goods to a restaurant; Ricci received the news from a neighbor that his father had died. Since then, Ricci has been deeply saddened by his current situation and confused about how to move forward with his life. The very next day, Ricci received yet another piece of bad news: the house he lived in had been repossessed by debt collectors. Ricci had no idea what was happening and demanded an explanation as to why his father’s house had been repossessed. It turned out that his father had accumulated a massive amount of debt. Ricci left his home and continued working until he lost track of time.

 

One day, Ricci made a lot of friends while working as a truck driver. He really enjoyed chatting with his friends at a coffee shop and learned a lot from them. The next day, Ricci went back to work as a truck driver and realized his income was barely enough to cover his living expenses. He was at a loss as to where else he could make money, so he talked to his friends to find a solution. They all told him that if he wanted to make big money, Ricci would have to turn to a life of crime. Alternatively, he could join the mafia dealing in drugs or illegal weapons. Ricci kept thinking about how he could get into the mafia. One night, while he was working, a stranger approached him and offered him a job selling illegal weapons. Without a second thought, Ricci accepted, and he has now become a member of the mafia in Los Santos.
