From a young age, Ethan spent his weekends tinkering in the family garage and helping his father with various repairs around the house. Working side by side every Sunday became a family tradition. This habit helped Ethan become a patient and practical young man, unafraid of getting his hands dirty. Things changed when Ethan turned sixteen. The steel mill where his father worked closed down after the company moved its operations overseas. Daniel was laid off along with hundreds of other workers. The family struggled for years, so Ethan took whatever work he could find after school. He washed dishes, delivered newspapers, and hauled crates at a warehouse near the railway. None of it was glamorous, but it put food on the table and kept him busy. An old neighbor named Carl, a retired city worker, often told him that there was no shame in any honest job as long as a person showed up on time and did it well. He takes pride in every shift and is slowly saving for a more settled future of his own.
