PROLOGUE

Freddie Nolan is a former police officer of San Andreas Police Department. During one of his time of duty, he suddenly collapsed to the ground. His patrol partner immediately call for ambulance and Nolan was escorted to the hospital. Nolan went through several test and some background check to determine the cause of his sudden fainting. After receiving treatment, the doctor stated that Nolan has a lung cancer resulting from his exposure to carsinogenic microparticles while working at an asbestos factory in his youth. The particles settled for too long inside Nolan's body, causing an undetected tumor for over a decade.

The doctor insisted Nolan to quit from the department, suggesting him to prioritize his health condition. Nolan was not sure at first as he is in the middle of his career. In the end, Nolan chose

to resign from the department and move to a rural area, far away from the hustle and bustle in the city.

Living in the countryside is challenging and unpleasant for newcomers here. Public facilities are shabby and hard to reach. Most people still live in an old-fashioned way, but this makes countryside different. Yet, this is the place where brotherhood are forged. Where locals share their struggle and seek solutions about everyday life, building trust on each other. While fighting his cancer, Nolan also adapt with the atmosphere there. Struck by financial hardship, Nolan decided to turn to his brothers for help.
