He grew up in a modest family where his father worked as a truck mechanic and his mother managed a small hunting supply store owned by the family. Most of Jonathan’s childhood was spent around cold mountain air, repair shops, and hunting trips during winter seasons. From a young age, he was known as a quiet and reserved person who preferred working with his hands rather than talking too much. After finishing high school, Jonathan started feeling like his hometown had little future left for him. Many people around his age became involved in alcohol, reckless behavior, and constant trouble. At the age of nineteen, he decided to join the United States Marine Corps in search of discipline, purpose, and a different life. Jonathan served nearly eight years as an infantry rifleman and was deployed overseas multiple times. Military life changed him in many ways. It made him disciplined, mentally tough, and capable of staying calm under pressure, but it also left scars he rarely talked about. During one deployment in the Middle East, Jonathan lost one of his closest friends during an operation, an event that deeply affected him. After that incident, he became even more distant and struggled to trust people easily. His fellow Marines respected him because he was dependable and always completed his duties without hesitation, though many noticed he carried his problems alone and rarely opened up to anyone. After leaving the military with the rank of Sergeant, Jonathan relocated to Los Santos hoping to start over. He worked several jobs including delivery driver, warehouse security, and mechanic work in small garages around the southern part of the city. Life in Los Santos was far harsher than he expected, filled with violence, corruption, and people willing to exploit former soldiers for dirty work. Jonathan tried to stay on the right path despite constantly finding himself surrounded by trouble. He was not the kind of man who looked for conflict, but anyone who threatened him or the people he cared about quickly learned he would never back down.
