$iris2154$ Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Kwon_Yuseong Kwon Yuseong was born from the family who had suffered the 1992 Los Santos riot. His family owned a small, home-made restaurant in East Beach, where the Koreatown stands. It was quite a successful start back in the day; tables always full, the room filled with the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood dining in. It all went well until the well-known Rodney King riot broke down. There were already strained relations between Black residents and Korean immigrant shop owners in the neighborhoods, and the riot only sparked the flames futher. During this incident, Koreatown became one of the hardest-hit areas, making the Kwon family suffer major losses that cost them their entire restaurant. The family took some time to recover, knowing it wasn't easy for them to let go of all the past glory, but they knew they had to get back on their feet sooner or later. Only after the Kwon family had recovered was Yuseong born, specifically on January 7, 2002. Seong's childhood was filled with his parents' hardworking upbringing and constant hustle as he helped his parents manage the restaurant. Sometimes he'd serve the customers, sometimes he'd help his mom with the cooking. This habit continued and he kept doing it even after he enrolled at Saint John Bosco, where he met and befriended fellow Koreans. While his buddies spent their time having fun together, Seong would always go back home, prioritizing helping his parents with the restaurant. He was the model student during his high school life. He was the academic achiever type of person, consistently doing well in exams and assignments, and it made finding jobs easy for him. He works as one of the tie-wearer, maintaining that professional look, but he also hides a face unknown to most of his acquaintances while he keeps that professional persona most of the time. Behind all that formal, controlled look, he works under a crew led by Jaesang, one of the Koreans he met during his school years. He's responsible of selling illegal goods, controlling the market of Little Seoul and much more. He does all this behind the backs of his family and friends so they believe he is just another Korean chasing the American dream.
