Her family embodies a unique blend of cultures; her dad, who is originally from the Netherlands, is deeply involved in electronic music, while her mom, from the Philippines, performs and sings on the streets. As she grew up, Maybelline was immersed in a vibrant musical environment. Her dad often took her to the Ultra Music Festival in Miami to see the biggest EDM DJs, while she also observed her mom performing live in public. This early exposure to music influenced her understanding and resilience, making her a tough cookie capable of handling any challenge. When she entered high school, Maybelline fully immersed herself in the EDM scene. She enrolled in music classes to learn the fundamentals of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), which are software programs for music production, so she could create her own songs. From that point, she began creating beats, learning music theory, and exploring sound design in depth. Even though it was a grind, she stuck with it. Besides her studies, Maybelline dedicated hours to immersing herself in the tracks of EDM legends like Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Zedd, and many others. She absorbed inspiration and worked on decoding song structures, sonic dynamics, and the techniques needed to create music that resonates deeply with listeners. After she put in the work, Maybelline graduated from junior high school as the top student in her music class. Turning eighteen, Maybelline moved to Los Santos to chase her music dreams. She picked that city for its super hyped vibe and endless chances in the entertainment game. She started hustling, hitting up nightclubs, chill bars, and local radio stations to get her music out there. But Los Santos hasn't been any cakewalk. To keep it real, she's juggled a bunch of gigs, like dancing at clubs and being a stripper. She's grinding day and night, slinging that nighttime club hustle, and entertaining dudes under the lights while spending her days crafting EDM bangers, aiming for a future that's both lit and stable.
