God grants Carlos into a middle-class working family, his father's name is Jose. He was a policeman around there where they live to keeping the streets safe for Carlos and his family, but it didn't last long for them. Few years later, when Carlos on his teenage-time. There was a time when Jose patrol around the streets after he got a report by victims of a criminal robbing people and stores. They provides Jose an information how the criminal looks like, Jose cruises around with his under cover appearance, when he saw a person match the description, without hesitate he pulled the trigger sending that person death. Jose wasn't the hero that time, in fact he killed the wrong person and he got fired because of his panic move. After that Carlos's father spends his time drinking beers and watching tv at home also sometime abusing his wife with violence, representing anger and hopeless, Carlos watched his mother from the hole beneath door, he can't do much to help his mother, at that time crying is all he can do. Carlos's mother can't longer deal with her husband and decided to bring her son to her relatives at West Coast. After that they keep going with their life, no longer in contact with Jose like he wasn't even exist. Years after years, Carlos is now a grown-up man, he went to automotive degree, Carlos came out pretty handy in oil and scraps stuff due to his uncle's influence. Carlos adapted "Slim" persona as nickname because of his slim body shape but it doesn't mean he is soft in weird way, Carlos doesn't like to low his head down for a person who wasn't worthy for his respect, instead he exchanges a fist with that person.
