His father was a police officer, and his mother was a doctor, both worked in the nearby city. From a young age, Malrick had always been an outstanding student, earning the highest grades in his school. During his elementary school years, he often saw his father being called to fight crime beyond their neighborhood. His father was known as a brave and skilled officer. It was from those moments that Malrick grew to deeply admire his father and made a promise to Malrick that one day, Malrick would become just like him. When Malrick began high school, that very same day, his father was on a mission to handle a bank robbery in the city. Malrick, however, knew nothing about it. During the mission, his father was shot in the chest, the bullet hitting a vital organ and leaving him unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, his life could not be saved. While Malrick was sitting in the school cafeteria, he saw a breaking news report on television about a police officer who had fallen in the line of duty. At that very moment, his phone rang it was his mother calling to tell him that the officer who had died was his father. Malrick’s life went on, marked by his continued excellence at school. He earned a scholarship that supported him in pursuing higher education. Now, he lives with his mother in the same house they once shared as a family. His mother retired and left her job at the hospital two years ago. Today, it is Malrick who carries the responsibility of continuing their family’s life. Remembering his father’s bravery and determination as a police officer, Malrick made a firm decision to dedicate himself to serving his country. He wanted to fulfill the promise he had made to himself as a child to become a great police officer like his father. And from that moment, Malrick began a new chapter in his life.
