Arleen Ackerman’s a Gen Z kid, born on 05-05-2005. She grew up in a family that’s straight-up obsessed with Japan. Her full name’s Arleen Serenity Cavaleria. She’s an only child, no siblings at all, but she’s got a whole bunch of cousins and close fam around. Since she was little, Arleen’s always been kinda different from the other girls at school. Low-key sounds like a “pick me,” but honestly, that’s just how it is. She grew up dealing with some heavy stuff like anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and GERD. Even with all that, she’s always had her personal therapist, Emma Ruiz, by her side. Whenever her conditions act up, no matter where she’s at, she never hesitates to hit up her therapist. If she doesn’t, things can get real bad real quick especially with her stomach issues. Funny thing is, even though she’s got GERD, she can’t start her day without caffeine and still goes all in on spicy food.

 

Fast forward five years, her parents went crazy over the anime Attack on Titan and fell in love with one of the characters with the last name “Ackerman.” That’s how Arleen picked up the name, and she just rolled with it ‘cause she thought it sounded cool and kinda rare among her friends. Arleen’s got a real passion for science, especially animals, astronomy, and the ocean. She chose to dive into astronomy and marine studies ‘cause, to her, those two are hella interesting. I mean, the ocean’s still mostly unexplored, full of mysteries waiting to be uncovered. But the funny part is, even though she’s super into those topics, she can’t really start convos with people she’d rather be the one getting approached instead. Once she got deep into her interests, Arleen started writing novels with themes about space and the ocean. On top of that, she makes educational animations to share what she’s learned, turning her discoveries into visuals so people can actually get the point without all the confusion.
