Raised in a disciplined yet nurturing household, Agnes grew up surrounded by values rooted in compassion, service, and integrity. Her father, Arthur Peterson, a former U.S. Army officer, instilled in her the importance of structure, responsibility, and honor. Her mother, Eva, a longtime nurse at a local hospital, was the one who sparked Agnes’s early interest in healthcare. Observing her mother’s unwavering dedication to patient care and community health, Agnes became deeply inspired to walk a similar path.
