Since childhood, he has been known as a sociable person who adapts quickly. Sanele attended Franklin Elementary School for his primary education and continued to Jefferson Academy for middle school. During middle school, he developed an interest in martial arts and trained regularly at the Washington Martial Arts Academy. Upon entering Roosevelt High School, Sanele became more focused on boxing, eventually winning an interschool tournament, bringing his school to the national level, and earning a full scholarship to George Washington University. At university, Sanele faced new challenges, including bullying from some seniors. Although he initially chose to endure it, one day, he finally stood up for himself when a senior pushed him, causing his food to fall to the floor. Sanele demonstrated his skills without resorting to violence, which ultimately earned him the respect of his seniors. Outside of campus life, Sanele remained close to his mother, Marissa Duskwind, a strong woman who raised him alone after his father passed away when he was still a child. She was his primary source of inspiration, always supporting him in both academics and martial arts. Every weekend, he made time to return home to keep his mother company and help with household chores, ensuring that he could still dedicate time to the person who had made the greatest impact on his life. After graduating with respectable honors, Sanele did not immediately pursue a major career. Instead, he chose to stay with his mother for a while longer, taking care of her as her health began to decline with age. While working as a boxing coach, Sanele ensured that his mother received the best care and spent as much time with her as possible. For him, true victory was not just about achievements in the ring but also about loyalty to family. He realized that his success would not have been possible without his mother’s sacrifices and love, and now it was his turn to give back everything she had given him.
