Luck was on their side this time, as the un-seal took place earlier than expected. At the end of July, Charles met Detective Trudeau whilst cleaning up the ‘18’ gang tags and murals. The tag removal was a police initiative, no crew member had called them. Charles felt a sense of respect for Trudeau at that time. Charles had to play both sides to minimise the risks associated with the rocker-shadow-business behind the scenes. The Rockers were delighted when the cafe-studio was unsealed. They immediately held a meeting to discuss the next steps.
