Saya RoyEff Ingin ikutan meramaikan guide di JGRP. Guide ini saya buat agar para roleplayer LEO dapat beroleplay dengan lebih immersive dengan menggunakan lingo-lingo dan slang-slang yang dipakai oleh LEO di Los Angeles yang merupakan versi real life dari Los Santos.

A hook = Penangkapan

Contohnya: "I got a hook last night on a deuce near PigPen."

 

Fort Apache = Sebutan untuk Kantor LASD East L.A.

Contohnya: "He got assigned to Fort Apache last week."

 

Fort = Kantor Polisi / Pos Polisi (Paling sering digunakan untuk sebutan kantor LASD East L.A. dan Rampart milik LAPD)

Contohnya: "We're heading back to the fort to finish the reports."

 

Boot / New Boot = Petugas baru / Trainee

Contohnya: "Let the new boot take the first report."

 

Frank = Penangkapan kejahatan berat / Felony

Contohnya: "That’s two franks in one shift — not bad."

 

Cherry patch = Area yang mudah untuk melakukan penangkapan

Contohnya: "This block is a cherry patch for deuce arrests."

 

Gray bar motel / The bucket = Penjara

Contohnya: "We dropped him off at the gray bar motel around 3 a.m."

 

Duster = Pemakai PCP / Orang yang sering mabuk PCP

Contohnya: "Watch out, this guy’s a known duster, he might get violent."

 

Deuce = Pengemudi dalam pengaruh alkohol (DUI)

Contohnya: "Pulled over a deuce on Ganton Street."

 

TC (Traffic Collision) = Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas

Contohnya: "We’re code 6 on a TC at Florence and Central." atau kalau update "Suspect TC" bukan "Suspect Crashed"

 

Zero = Korban meninggal dunia

Contohnya: "Driver’s a zero. Call the coroner."

 

Radio car = Mobil patroli polisi (LASD)

Contohnya: "Get in the radio car and back me up."

 

Shop = Mobil patroli polisi (LAPD)

Contohnya: "The shop took some damage in the pursuit." | Jadi untuk SAPD yang memportray LAPD bilang mobil polisi itu SHOP bukan CRUISER.

 

King car = Mobil patroli dengan satu petugas (seharusnya dua)

Contohnya: "169 King is handling the call solo tonight."

 

Days on the bricks = Hukuman skors tanpa gaji

Contohnya: "Got five days on the bricks for missing court."

 

Victor = Barang curian (biasanya mobil atau senjata)

Contohnya: "Ran the plate — came back as a victor."

 

Boom stick = Shotgun

Contohnya: "He pulled a boom stick out of the trunk."

 

Gimme = Pistol

Contohnya: "He came in with a gimme yelling at the clerk." | Kenapa "Gimme"? karena pistol disana sering terlihat ditangan orang yang ngomong "Gimme your money!".

 

The tube = Shotgun polisi

Contohnya: "I grabbed the tube before we made entry."
