Hwang_Seungmin Hwang Seungmin spent his childhood under the warm sun of Los Santos, specifically in the area around the Pier East Beach Stadium complex. For young Seung-min, that coastal area was a peaceful home, where the roar of the waves and the sea breeze always accompanied his days with his parents. However, those beautiful memories were cut short in the most tragic way. A dark incident took the lives of his father and mother, leaving the very young Seung-min alone and in deep grief. With no other relatives in the city, custody of Seung-min fell to his uncle, who decided to take him away from the United States. Seung-min was forced to say goodbye to the streets of Los Santos, crossing the Pacific Ocean to South Korea—the land of his ancestors, which was completely foreign to him at the time. Under his uncle’s guidance, Seung-min grew into an independent, reserved young man with a will of steel. His new environment in Korea forced him to adapt quickly—a process of maturation that reached its peak when he was required to undergo military training. Inside the South Korean military barracks, Seung-min was put through his paces. He learned a high level of discipline, survival tactics, hand-to-hand combat, and extraordinary mental resilience under pressure. The years he spent in uniform not only built his physical toughness but also instilled strong moral principles of honor and integrity. Although he had become a fully-fledged adult there, there was one thing that never faded from his memory, Los Santos. His longing for his hometown continued to call to him, prompting Jung to pack his belongings and return to the place where he first took his first breath. However, his return to Los Santos wasn’t as idyllic as the memories he’d held onto. The city had changed drastically, a far cry from his peaceful childhood memories of East Beach. As he tried to settle down and rebuild his life around the Pier East Beach Stadium Complex area, Seung-Min discovered that his neighborhood was now dominated by rampant criminal activity. The streets he once considered his playground were now filled with intrigue, violence, and the shadow of organized crime. Los Santos has turned into a grinding machine, where extortion, illegal businesses, and the screech of tires and police sirens at night have become commonplace. The neighborhood where he lives is now filled with a younger generation taking the easy way out, forming crews and syndicates to vie for power on the streets. Faced with this new and brutal reality in Los Santos, Hwang Seung-Min is confronted with the harsh reality of survival. He could, in fact, very easily have plunged into the underworld, becoming a drug dealer or a feared street enforcer and making money quickly. However, his past trauma and the principles he holds dear led him to flatly reject that path. Seung-Min chooses to keep his hands clean. He decides to live as an ordinary civilian, making a living through honest odd jobs just to get by.
